Freddy qualified from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London with a combined Masters Degree in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy.
He treats a broad range of patients and with each and every one, he tailors treatments to the individual's specific requirements, circumstances and ability. He also uses exercise rehabilitation video software to allow each patient to improve recovery and maintain health after treatment.
He loves horse riding and walking his two dogs. On the days he is not working at Bidwell, Freddy can be found working as an Equine Osteopath, treating horses around the Southwest. For more information on equine osteopathy please visit www.equiost.com.
After qualification at BCOM in 2007, Chloe spent some time as a volunteer at the Osteopathic Children's Clinic in Manchester, which she found hugely inspiring. This has led to a special interest in treating babies and children during this pivotal stage in life and has recently treated teenagers that she once saw as very young children. Chloe takes a gentle approach to treatment using all aspects of osteopathy.
Victoria studied at The British School of Osteopathy, in London, qualifying in 1986, making a permanent return to Devon in 1990 and has worked in the South Hams ever since. Bidwell Cottage was extended in 2000 to add Bidwell Practice onto the house and give it a permanent home. Victoria loves the variety of treatment approaches that Osteopathy offers, and the range of possibilities for the recovery and restoration of balanced health, especially in regard of more complex, longstanding presentations. She has always had a special interest in the treatment and support of expectant mothers and their new-borns, following these children as they grow. More recently she has developed a keen interest in the treatment and management of the performing voice, and hopes to have time to focus on this in the future.
Carl qualified from the BSO in 1991. He spent a few years working at the Osteopathic Children's Clinic in London while building his own practice in Brighton. His wealth of experience in treating children and new-borns has found a very receptive home here at Bidwell. He is a fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College and an active member of the teaching faculty.
He moved to Devon in 2010 and has settled into a fascinating, self-sufficient lifestyle, growing and producing the food for his family among likeminded people following the theory of Permaculture. In his spare time, a little kite-surfing goes down rather well.
Katrina graduated from the BSO in London with an Integrated Master's Degree in Osteopathy in 2010. Originally from the South Hams, and loving the great outdoors, a return to Devon was natural for katrina, and she has been a welcomed addition to Bidwell ever since. Katrina takes a gentle approach to treatment, using all aspects of Osteopathy. More recently, she has returned to us from maternity leave following the arrival of her daughter last year. She is a fluent French speaker.
Sarah Ingham is our massage Practitioner at Bidwell, who also specialises in scar work and myofacial release. For more information on her treatments please visit her website www.sarahinghamtherapies.com
